@Hi-Tek, age & Maturity has taught me that Life is a Game inside of Game, being played by Games inside those Games with infinite possibilities & Tournaments are no different. Inside that Tournament as well as all other Tournaments, others may have had their own agenda/game within the border of that Tournament Wall. Inside of my Tournament was a Bet of me wanting to beat 2 Man Teams & place better than 14th after a Tournament Fisherman bet me I would be within the bottom 10 in my 1st Crappie Tournament out. Just like my goal wasn't to Win my 1st Crappie Tournament as much as winning my bet within that Tournament Boundary, I'm open to the reality that others have their goals also.

I'm an open minded person that can give the nod to each & every person's sentiments & reasoning though at times I challenge some of those approaches in regards to percentages of reaching a worthy goal. In that regard, I realize nobody better have the game plan of catching 7 10inch Crappie to place in the competitive reigns of a Crappie Tournament. However, catching the 1st 7 Crappie to limit in as close to the 1st hour & then Culling to then seek bigger fish is a strategy that somebody that isn't coming back to the boat ramp with fish having a 2 Man Team to even weigh-in is going to have a hard time saying to me they are Elite. They are Flawed in their strategy to me because they achieved what? A paid entry fee, time & gas wasted, that 2 Grown people are not smarter than a fish, & another "L" in life. I've found the Go Big or Go Home Motto is EGO buffering it's position for failing. I didn't have a 10lb-14lb bag so I want even weigh in. Then they find out the Winner won with a 8lb-12lb bag so their story of Ego protection can save it's place in life. "Man I could have, would have, should have did this or that". To me when you Loose more than you Win/Competitively Achieve Placement you are a Looser, & when you Win/Competitively Achieve Placement more than you Loose you are a Winner. I believe in small constant victories vs adding any defeats of any kind to my persona if it can be avoided.

At the end of the day it's really to each their own. I'm from the era where we talked trash because we can actually do. There has been an era that is all talk & no go so I enjoy jumping in the ring to show the difference of the 2 from time to time. Nothing like a person that says that are going to do something & does it vs a person that says they can do this & that & can't. I want to make sure the world see's the difference so the other parties that talk trash & can't produce stay in their place on the porch sometimes. It keeps my male competitive drive going. Just like people have the right to fish their 2 Man Team Tournaments, I have the right to call some of them out when they are more talk than show. The best way beat a game I don't like to play is for me "NOT TO PLAY AT ALL" so I don't.

Hats off to the guys that can hold a net all day. We both fish and whoever doesn’t hook the fish grabs the net. I’ll fish by myself before I hold the net all day!
