    Default Fighting Crappie or .....

Not sure if it was 2 big boy fish entertaining 1 big female fish or 2 big boy fish fighting to entertain said 1 big girl fish ?
Walked up and saw it going on in 18 inches of water right at my feet at high noon on the bulkhead yesterday ....
Knew it was a really bad idea and spot to frolic for sure in broad daylight
and watched 6 or so nice crappie SLAM my jig while in my RAK em mode ...
    Right Angle Ketchn ....
When crappie are literally at your feet in 18 inches of water ....
EVEN with a short 5 6 rod you have to stand to the side to ketch said fish and I opted for the left side , hence ,,,RAK em mode !
Nonetheless I busted them all 3 in sneak attack and off they went to see some folks that could care less either way .....
one thing for sure positive , when you roll up and get out of the truck and ketch them at 10 feet from the truck at the edge of the parking lot on your lunch break at high noon AND leave with a bunch to give to others ....
it for sure do not get much better .....
need I remind you about the KABOOM or yawl kinda get it already ?
tis the word this season for sure ....
particulars , nesting at my feet in 18 to 24 inches of water , lake came up after the rain last weekend , 1/16 oz orange jig , orange and white hand tie as well and pink tube Arkie plastic on jigs and a short stiff rod with 8 lb mono
p.s. wandered out on the dock and ketched a few in 8 fow too ,,,,just because I can ...

Question, if I quit catching crappie long enough to get lunch out, eat my sandwich but keep a rod in one hand to set the hook while chewing, does that mean I'm fishing on my lunch break too? Kaboom is a good word for the occasion.
