    I notice the same thing when pedaling in kayak. They dive straight down.

    That's a nice perch. Last year we caught more perch and saugers then any time before.
    If you cast it they will come.

    That is very interesting to know about the forward sonar Rickie. I remember Doug going to MS last year or so and stated kind of the same thing. I try to study that when you are trolling and no fish are on the depth finder. Where did they go? To the sides.....
