It was that kind of day , 2 folks dunkin minners against lil ole me with my ORANGE jig , no contest for sure , never underestimate the OJ this time of year .
the great news is this though, even though they only had 2 when I got there and only put one more small in the basket while I was there ....
that there light basket magically got a bunch of big crappie in it ....go figure .....
Said they heard about me and I said hmmmm, first fish up was a true whopper , took a selfie picture and one of them said this .....I guess you just let them go after you take pictures is the word .....
I said yep thats typically a fact , but ......when I was taking a selfie with her she whispered in my ear about wanting to go in YOUR basket ? go figure
the fish were in 18 inches of water out to about 8 foot of water , pick your poison and go get some , float in shallow was good and on the bottom in 8 foot was just the same .....it is on like donkey kong in that spot for sure

invited me over and over again to their future fish fry and I opted for a rain check , then they said hmmm you don't eat them ?
I said sure I do , just don't eat them all the time , about once a week at our house ....
they were steady at it when I left , but to be sure the rain was intense later and prolly drove them (the anglers) off ....
raining when I got there and still raining when I left ....and rained and rained more after that ....

Great on ya Ketchn. Not only shared the groceries, but a bit of learning by watchin' the Grand Master. Bet there wont be no more orange colored jigs left on the hook at the next store they go to...Just sayin'.

yeppers if it ain't orange in that spot you best rethink that color don't matter thing ,less you want to just watch folks ketch and not be in the actual show .....audience type folks use other colors down there ....actors use ORANGE !

they have them here as well , but keep this in mind , a dozen is cheaper at the local petsmart than the bait shop .....
