this post was for grins bro , rarely does a jig stay with me more than a couple hundred fish , it is tough to pitch a hook in the water over and over and not lose it to something down below for sure

I'm surprised the epoxy powder wore off - I can't even melt it in my pot, have to chip it so the lead will drip out of the cured epoxy.

no clue what it was painted with , but very few jigs I pitch no matter who made them with what do not get chipped up after a 50 to 75 fish if they last that long , way back when Skip sold me a few that would not chip though , not sure what he used , but one of the jigs got to hang a long time, around so long the hook got rusty and it never chipped ....rare for sure

75 plus times getting hammered...I'd say pretty good paint job...But then I did them.... Attract some pretty good fish for the Master Ketchn. Yes I'm Proud of them. Needed to get a better UV light. Just sayin'

nail polish is my game , depends on 2 things though , how fresh is the lead head and how many coats .....
not fresh lead dont hold the nail polish near as long as a fresh shiny head ....
not sure if that applies to other methods of coloring a jighead though

Most jigs have a " Out of sight" warranty. Under warranty until "out of sight". AKA in the water.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6

if it's a VERY special jig someone made ya , that is stupid pretty and just perfect , it seems to me about 99% of the time it is gone the first drop .....some sort of voodoo type thing is my guess ....
