KABOOM , my my my ,them fisheez who whoz are protruding immensely and that makes me think they are doing the fishee hanky panky thing ,,,,,

The water temperature has dropped back to 48* from 52*. I have caught exactly one that was turning black and if you remember my posts from years past I have caught many that are almost completely black. I think they are still in pre spawn for the most part, and the water is high again this year which means they will have brush that is impenetrable and ideal for spawning and the full moon of March is going to be great for them,tough for me.
