Interesting. I've been thinking of going to the 34 but haven't yet. More people normally say there is a big difference but who knows. I did just download the latest version of software to my unit so maybe I'll wait to see it that shows any improvement first. If I was going new I'd for sure go with the 34 over the 32. Maybe I'll wait for the 36 now?

Let us know if you see any difference with the software update. I'm behind on mine but if no improvement, why bother?

I bought a LVS34 transducer over christmas. I run 2 systems one on a pole in prespective mode and the other on the trolling motor in forward.

Unfortunately I haven't even dug the boat out of the garage yet to be able to see what the difference between them is.

Have the 34 on the trolling motor, I'm hoping to be able to pick up fish that are close to the bottom in shallow water better than i could with the 32

Got my old account back... Thanks Slab

I kind of figured on that anyway. I am going to make it as portable as possible because I like to strip everything off the boat except the sonar for duck season. I like having the sonar when running the Ohio River in the dark so I can keep tabs on the water depth.
