I don't have any short 1 piece spinning rods. They are 10 to 14 ft 2 and 3 piece rods, Shakespeare Crappie Hunter, Zebco Crappie Fighter, Southbend Crappie Magnet. Got trigger spin reels on them. Shakespeare CHMS, Zebco Crappie Fighter, Zebco Mini 33TS, Southbend CMTS. I started getting the rods, reels and combos at auction houses 15 years ago for $5 to $15. Haven't used a spinning reel since.

The only one of the 3 that I have now is the Triumph, but it is the previous generation to the one for sale now. Some of the feedback I have seen about the current generation Triumphs are not positive. The previous generation one I have is very good.

With regards to the Panfish Elite, the micro guides concern me that knots won't pass through the guides. Other than that it seems like a nice rod.

I will definitely research the Falcon Bucoo some more. It is available at a very good price right now.
Don't know which knots your worried about going thru the micro-guides. I use albright, blood, nail & double uni knots without any issues.
