Default At last my son and I can get back to fishing.

Had a rough couple months, My mother in law passed away and I’ve been having a ton of health issues but making progress in the right direction. So my son and I are ready to get back to fishing and enjoying the outdoors.

I ran across a PM from you the other day and wondered how y’all were doing. Glad you are on the mend and readying to chase some Slabs with your son.

Being out on the water does seem to rejuvenate the soul.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along

Hoping you continue to mend and get out with your son. Nature sure is a healing place for so many of us.

Thanks for the kind words and well wishes everyone, I’ve dropped in a couple times and skimmed the site but everything has been a bit of a blur lately. I’m still fairly young but each year that goes by I learn to appreciate the small things in life and realize everyday is a good day. Hopefully my son and I will have some pics to share soon!

    Thanks

Getting out fishing and enjoying the out of doors is powerful medicine. Best wishes with the health issues, it sounds like you might have turned the corner.

I always say "You have to be tough to get older".
I have been through it myself the last 2 years. But God is good! His grace is sufficient for the day.
Keep fighting the good fight of faith. You will be back at it before you know it.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
