Default The run has begun ....

So for the next 4 months or so it's easy to be a crappie pro .....
just go to the OS and forget the FS and hammer like ya mean it ...
that there BIG moon made em crazy and do I have any idea what the water temps are you might ask .....nope and who cares ,,,,,water temp bla bla bla keeps folks off my spots and I say carry on with your scientific calculations off your couches from all that there googling and etc. info ....
Now the particulars , the fish were in short water at 2 spots we hit , we only visited 3 spots that afternoon , one of the older girl fish looked like she already been busy to me ...
color didn't seem to matter much , but for sure cadence did ....a slow drag got bit well .
some fish were on old stumps and some were on a point with no cover .
all the fish were in 3 foot or so of water at both spots we found them .
We kept a bunch and gave them to 6 different people to enjoy . Not sure how many were had total ,but it was enough to make you smile real large and get tired of ketchn em .....that is possible btw .....
    KABOOM is the word ....
btw ....will be 92 for a high here on Monday .....brrrr ....

daffodils are my first clue type thing ,one bloomed last week at our place , then some kinda of fake Bradford pear in my yard follows them within a week or so .....the rest of the dogwood and red bud stuff you hear about is about a first third to halfway thru the run ....
unless of course you read toooo many posts on Fakebook or elsewhere stuff about when and where and what is blooming when ...
btw bro , some folks are hurting some really colored up black crappie over on your side of town .....fyi

with the higher than normal seasonal highs locally , the fish will hit the short water fast and hard is my guess .....
they like to run a bit on the full moon in February , but this year might be lots more fish quicker ....might said might
