What is the best/strongest type of knot that provides essentially the same function as a dropper loop? All of the knots I have tried so far weaken the main line quite a bit.
I am trying to improve the strength of my double rigs while keeping the line thin and flexible.

I used this exact video a few years back and it served me well. I had a very difficult time making loop knots in small lines due eyesight and arthritis in my hands. It was super strong but for me I used a 8-12 lb main line and knot line and made my “droppers” 2-6 lb test. Hope this helps. Be blessed….

That is how I typically tie my dropper loop, but unfortunately my main line fails at either the entrance or exit of the T of the dropper loop.
I am trying to find a better knot that can hold up to heavy brush without breaking off and losing so many rigs or jigs.
