I watch BPS for sales and their bargain cave occasionally. I try to buy jigs and such from our members, sponsors small businesses I find while searching the web.

My post wasn't intended as a bash, simply my opinion. I did buy a new tackle bag that was on sale and four packages of plastics to raise the total enough to qualify for free shipping. I spent ten dollars to save five, so that says a lot about my intelligence. LOL

I always try to meet minimum for free shipping. At least that way I have something for my money.

I live about a mile from a BPS, I love killing time there. I buy my line there, and my reels when they have them on promotion. I wish they had better variety of line weights. I can always find 6# but sometimes I look for 4# for my UL rods. I keep an eye out on electronics as well. I visit Sportsman's as well. I find better deals on smaller companies jig heads there. And lighter weights, IE 1/24, 1/64.

Looks like Bass Pro Crappie Madness promo has started but it appears they have did away with the 50% off items and replaced them with 25% off. Not much of deal since most of their items are already marked up. For example their Bobby Garland baits are now $2.78 a pack instead of the $1.58 they typically are during the sale. Heck I get them all day at Walmart for $2.59. I did not see any half price off rods either. I guess I will be sitting this one out.

Yeah I just checked those and most of the colors didn’t seem to great to me. Of course I ain’t a crappie so… ����*♂️

My local store has Bobby Garland and Mr Crappie baits for 25-26% off regular price. Bobby Garland baits are $3.79 and Mr. Crappie are $2.78 a pack.
