The cost of comprehensive coverage for a older vehicle compared to the total loss collected makes it so I don't carry Comp on the stuff I drive except the newer vehicles. Like the last boat I built it is still a 1995 boat in the eyes of a insurance company so that is all they will insure it for.

My boat is a 1993 and is insured for a stated value. I decided the value it's insured for in the event of a total loss and that's the amount it's insured for. Not helpful now but maybe for someone in the future. My boat at 20K and that's probably not enough!
