I have a set of Epoch. That I bought last summer. Certainly no complaints here. 12v 100ah. Replaced 2 group 27 deep interstates. Average amount of trolling would drop them to between 45 or 50% charge. The lowest I have gotten the lithium. Is to 60 %. Lots of weight savings also.

Nothing is cheap in price anymore but when my big 27 wet cells quit I will be looking and researching here for best prices for what is working for you all.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

First trip with the new LiTimes on the trolling motor. Used 4 hours. Went well. No surprise that it felt like more power as my old acid 27s were way past their prime and serious corrosion issues on the terminals. New NOCO 5X3 did fine overnight.

Lithium batteries explode into flame throwers and are impossible to put out with a boat fire extinguisher or water. Dont ever buy cheap lithium batteries for anything. You have no idea what hack job they did assembling that battery over in china, and it will be using recycled (reused) battery cells. Check YouTube for videos of people opening them up to see what is inside, some are downright scary! All it takes is a short internally due to shotty soldering/welding job to make one of those cells overheat (or the cell to go bad and the bms not cut power) and now your boat is going to erupt in fire that you can do nothing about.

A battery built to be cheap is not what you want to mess with.

I think we are talking LiFe batteries for our boats.

My LiTime 12V 100AH has been great. I get over 6 hours on a single battery trolling for crappie. Have had 0 issues whatsoever. They also have sales for around $230 on Amazon from time to time. They charge great on my Minn Kota Precision charger.

I bought the Litime 12v 100ah that is labelled "Trolling Motor" on the battery, and is TM in product description. It is supposed to have a BMS that allows 300a for 5 seconds, so it could be used to "jump" a weak cranking battery. I hope to never have to do that again, but I keep a small pair of jumper cables just in case.

Been following this with interest. I have been researching lithium batteries for a long time. At this time I am not ready to make the jump.....but may in the future. But what I have found out is it is a crap shoot....cheap or high dollar. Seems that BMS on many batteries do not work as advertised. Take a look at this guys Youtube channel and see if your battery brand is one he has tested.

I have the ionics 100 amp hour it's been awesome. I run 4 12 in graphs one on livescope right at 50% on 8 hours fishing. Going to replace my 27 group with a less expensive lithium batteries. Following along
