Default TRIED A NEW PLASTIC LAST WEEK

I started jig fishing bout 6 years ago when I joined CDC.
Tubes, curly tails, boot tails, BGBS and marabou is all I've had. BGBS has been good to me.
But I tried something different last week after reading and watching youtube channels. The Crappie Magnet.
I know it's been around close to 20 years but never tried it. Under a bobber it did good. On a road runner it was great.
I'm afraid I may be getting addicted to them. LOL
I hate live bait. My boat don't like minnows.

Good to hear. Bobby Garlands, Crappie Magnets, Road Runners all produce. Good baits, good site sponsors, good results. Thanks for sharing

Crappie Magnets are very effective baits. Even the owner of the company says he is somewhat surprised a simple bait can be so effective.

Love the slab curlys for trolling. They're tough baits and last way longer than some of the other brands.

Me and my boat stand together. NO LIVE BAIT ALLOWED.
It took a while to build enough confidence to break away from minnow.
But today. I am free indeed.
Man it feels good to confess!

Auto correct will get you more times than not. Especially when you are close to one of the buzz words being thrown around and society.

Just about any jig will catch fish . Size and weight big factors in way you present your bait. I used plastic tubes for many years, but last couple swapped over to hand tied jigs. Find what you have confidence in. Reason I love hand ties is good ones are good for several trips if you don't break one off.

Anymore i throw a crappie magnet or baby shad way more than anything else. Right or wrong i don't know but if i don't get bit on them i figure i ain't getting bit anyway. I've about decided to sell the most of my molds since i don't use anything else.
