Long shank , Short shank

when ordering up jig heads there is a method to the madness on shank length .
a 1/16 ball head with a short shank for the downsized deeper small plastic presentations is a great idea .
the longer shank more the normal version works fine on larger plastics , but to very sure does not work well with the shorter plastics ....
the jigs below are the same number 6 hook and 1/16 oz.ball head in 2 different length shanks .....
the little things actually do matter , for sure
