Great times at Grizzly Jig

I had a great time this weekend at Grizzly Jig show. I got to meet several Crappie.com folks. Many were old friends and some new. I appreciate each of you stopping to talk.

It was a madhouse Friday and Saturday. I started having bad back spasms on Friday that got worse Saturday until I had to head home.

I trailered the new Bay Pro 230 Elite each day, 2 hours each way, so it could be shown with other Excel Boats. Leaving a rigged boat unattended over night outside is the stuff of nightmares.

I was honored to help sponsors like ACC Crappie Stix, Cornfield Fishing Gear, K9 Line, and Crappie Monster. Being able to pick the brains of Pros like Craig Nichols, Tim Howell, Tommy Ezell, and many others left me with tons of new tricks to try.

I would be a total wreck leaving my stuff overnight. Sounds like a great time. Hopefully one day I can make the trip. Just noticed the large cdc logo on your jersey. Very cool!

I was there on Friday… lots of people for a big showing…. I saw your boat and looked it over pretty good!! Nice rig!! I hope you get to use it more. It looks like it will do you a good job!!

I would have to have slept in the boat with the AR on my chest. They always have a good event. I try every year but life gets in the way.
