FWIW----I had gift certificates and used them at BPS to get 18amp lithium battery. Too pricy at BPS but the cards made it zero. Any way the battery is for kivescope only. Run my other electronics on cranking battery. By limiting the power draw to just live scope I've had zero issues with power.

Very light weight and so far it's been a good setup.

With an 18 AH lithium battery and a good app like with the Impulse Lithium's you can kinda calculate how long it'll last. Here's screen shots of mine with just the livescope and a Garmin 106SV on it.

so 18 AH battery running just that will last 18 divided by 2.55, or just a hair over 7 hours. I find that it is pretty darn accurate in my experience. I love that Impulse App. It's free BTW.

This would be correct using forumula 2.8 amp draw for Livescope unit x 7 hours = 19.6 AH Like you stated should be able to go a tad bit less than 7 hours before needing to recharge.

The topic was about powering Livescope and I'm trying to share that a small 18ah will work fine . 7 - 8 hrs is about the limit.

I would have looked at other brands, including board sponsors, but gift cards dictated where I shopped. In addition to cards my credit card points made the purchase zero dollars.

No worries, I was just adding to the conversation.

I got a 20AH because I typically use my Livescope for 5-6 hours a trip. It's all good.

I power all of my electronics on 1 100ah lithium battery, that is 2 93SV's plus Livescope and I have gone without charging for
3 days on the water for 6-8hrs per day.
