Default Going to Pre-Apologize if I may ....

Sometimes the best intentions just do not go well .
So in an effort to stay off toes, here it goes .
this an apology for my less than stellar results on yesterdays adventure .
The intention was to ketch a crappie .
The results were very poor .
The upside is I discovered the color jig the wrong fish wanted ....
pink and orange was the ticket if you want to ketch a blue cat and a drum
the second upside is them there south of Texas folks wanted fish and they for sure are happy beyond words about whatever I give them .
once again a SKUNK , twice in the same year ....darn the bad luck ...
    No KABOOM .....
p.s. that drum blew that blue out of the water on fight per lb. , man did the drum go at it , screamed the reel more than once and took lots of line twice ....
thought for sure it was some other kind of trash fish ....

I don't consider that a skunk, just not the species you wanted. Nice catches

I have to say the same. Those are very nice catches. It’s all good, and as you say they were headed to someone's table.

Since the crappie didnt bit it was a good day getting rid of a few of the trash fish!
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
