Why do you say the tree thumper is a low end rod?

All B/M rods are good in my opinion . Some are made with better materials, eyes , guide seats , lengths of handles number if eyes ect .Saying it is low end does not mean the quality is not adequate. I meant to imply they make rods that have a better feel ,more sensitive if you are looking for rods that compare to other companies top rods .

    Thanks!
I use a b n m diamond series 14’ and it is light and can flip fish easy.

    Don't doubt it !!

I use the Diamond Series 12' rod and boat flipped a 10" & 11" Crappie (double jig rig) without even thinking about it.

I like the BnM Russ Bailey model for jigging myself. Balanced out nicely with a Pflueger President Reel

If you are precise and dont have a neck break hook set try the Sam Heaton.
