Sir, may Gods hands touch your family and care team who will be caring for you.
Hope all is well with you all....
Here is where I am. Heading in for a heart procedure in less than 2 weeks, and will be laid up for a little while afterwards. While I'm recovering, I'm not allowed to do anything. So, my mind is running on things that need done with my pontoon that I fish out of with my family. I reupholstered everything last year, repainted it the year before, and carpet is this year. I'm needing to know: WHAT IS THE BEST TYPE OF ADHESIVE TO USE FOR A STRONG BOND TO TREATED/MARINE PLYWOOD? We use this boat as a family for outtings, too. I have samples of carpets coming from Overtons in the next week. Like I said, I have some time to figure this all out while I'm laid up, but I want to have it all here for when I'm allowed. Won't have but a week or two to get it done before I start going on trips in the first part of April.
And selfishly, I would appreciate your prayers. 47 years old is a little young for heart surgery, and this is the toughest thing my family has had to face together. I trust God COMPLETELY (I "work" for Him.....a youth minister for 25 years), but anxiety and fear just come with it.....I have more fish to catch with my family and friends!
Thanks in advance.....

I can't offer any adhesive advice but I did say a prayer for you Mr. Willis for a speedy recovery.
Me too, not sure about adhesive but prayers sent
Yep, not sure about adhesives or boat rehab, but God bless and good luck with the procedure. I'm sure you'll be fine, but as you said, anxiety is probably to be expected in your situation.
Good luck with the surgery. Prayers sent. YouTube is a good resource for such answers. While you are recovering you will have plenty of time to watch and get ideas
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Like Grain I can’t help on the adhesives, but in 2022 I got a new aortic valve and it has made a huge difference in my life. I was very lucky to be able to have the TAVR procedure. I was home the next day. I met a lot of folks at cardiac rehab that had to get cracked, and that is a much longer recovery period. Do not skip rehab. There is a psychological aspect as well, and sometimes cardiologists (IMO) do not spend any time discussing it. All that said, you’re young and take a positive attitude that you have many years left. Let us know how you’re doing and best wishes for success.

A huge blessing to you. Better health means more enjoyment with the family on the reconditioned water ride.
Catch all you can when you can!
