The other day we had 8 white crappie 1 regular black crappie and 16 with stripes .
My bud was in the what is up mode and I was not sure what was up.
We ketch them in there pretty often, but never in herds like that visit ?
Most lakes around me have some and a few spots have more than others, but we never ketch more than 2 or 3 per visit
He asked me if that spot was known for lots of em and I said nope , not bunches of them
I was wrong for sure .....first 5 or 6 we boxed had stripes ....go figure

I onky know one lake where I can ketch those blacknose crappie. It has more black crappie than anything. Might get one blacknose out of every 10-12 blacks. Sometimes I'll find a school where that's about all I'll catch, but not very often. They definitely fillet nice though. Congrats on your success!
