SC is supposed to get 3" more by the end of the weekend! I put some brushpiles out in the back yard just in case!!
Cause we have had 7" of rain in the past two days and my front ditch looks deep enough for crappie. I always wanted a pond on my place and it's forming in my back yard. Should I try some orange or stick with my black/chartreuse favorite?

Depends on how much they like it, what is there for them. Food? A place to rest out of the current? Catfish will stage up at the mouth of creeks or flows as they empty into a body of water as soon as the food starts to wash out
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
When Ketchn finds out he will be sure to fish your place.
Catch all you can when you can!

FISHING REPORT: ‹Caught two docks, 3 trees and a stump- threw them back!
We catch catfish miles from the river when the river is one the rise and you get a second big rain. One of my favorite spots is a set of double culverts off a certain county road...drop some worms down and catch channels, flatheads, carp, drum, buffalo, etc.

Careful! When those high waters go back down your backyard could be full of carp!
