    We have a bear that has been visiting us regularly for years. Every once in a while it shows up and raids our bird feeders. Knocks them all over and feasts on the sunflower seeds. We might not see it again for weeks and just when we think it's gone it shows up again. It shows up at all times of the year.

    The down side is that we aren’t allowed to do much to defend ourselves. You just about have to be mauled before you’re allowed to do much of anything. Glad Moms OK. Ammonia maybe?
