Default Misery comes in many forms

It might be work related , it might be spouse related , it might be child related , it could be health related , heck it might be just about anything in this lovely world we live in ......
It could be a recreational trip gone wrong or just maybe totally weather related .....
in my case IT WAS WEATHER RELATED ! ....
Holy you know what batman , man did the wind have a vengeance and the temperature just kept going down .....now mind you this 32 isn't terrible , until you put a 20 to 30 mph north wind with it .....BRRRRR
The adventure and quest was quite simple , just whack a few bluegills and or crappie for a fresh fish Sunday dinner on my way home from our country place .
One would tend to think that with the waters so void of human activity and the fish likely on the feed bag with the weather getting worse as I type , it would have been a cake walk . NOPE !
It is now around around 12 or 13 with a windchill of -2 or -3 ....BRRRR for sure
AND now I got to clean fish .....oh my ....not fun ....
heck you might want to add a family in need along the way that just got a nice young doe on the hunt taking place where I stopped and them scratching them never got a deer heads about who is going to clean said deer as lil ole me tries to exit stage left ......
!0 minutes later the deer was in the ice chest and my hands were right frisky ccccold , them fisheez made them quite chilly , but that wet blood on ones bare hands in them temperatures.....my my my .....
2 crappie 2 bass and around 15 bluegill hit my hand before I drove and 8 of said bluegill got to ride home with me , the crappie were small and the bass are fishy fish and my actual mission was just a few fat panfish anyway ....
the fish were past finicky about 27 miles and EVERYONE of them just took the float down REALLY slowly , sure was tough to hold a bait still enough to get bit,
    so without further ado.....
KABOOM is what I do .....

Heck, your day out has my fingers hurting. Or maybe it's just because it's -5 with a wind chill of - 25 here. At least the sun is out. Fishing is out of the question now, thinking of taking a walk in a little bit out on the frozen streets of the city. It might be a short walk, guess I'll see what it's like. Used to work outside and saw wind chills of -45 back in the 80's, how bad could it be? Don't like sitting around even when it's this cold. Love some fried bluegill, think the meat is firmer and taste better when caught out of cold water. Nice little mess of gillies. Some KABOOM beats no KABOOM for sure.

You’re a good and thoughtful man.
I would love some 32 degree weather around here.
It’s gonna be a whopping 16 for the high today.
