I'd like to give it a try, had several 12-14lb stripers hit a crappie jig and the fight was on.
I’m a gamma man but I’d like to give these lines a try.

Though I have never tried Varivas lines, It would be very nice to try these out.

I feel that the 8lb line is small enough and gives extra insurance while fishing for crappie and other pan fish..

I'm a 4lb mono guy myself, but willing to test others, in the name of science of course.

Would love to spool these lines up and use them and report back. The saltwater 8 lb test would be a test hooked up to a bull redfish or even a 30” incher one but l like the idea it cast so well.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!kmorrow LIKED above post
Have used braid for Lake Erie perch to feel soft bite on bottom, worth a try for crappie too.
I haven't tried Varivas line yet, but am very open to winning so I can. Honest report would follow.

I’m already a big fan of Varivas line, and love their braid too. I’ve used several of the nylon mono lines with good success. If you think casting is good with the 8lb, you should see me pitch a 1/16 with the 3lb. It goes into the next zip code! As slab said, very limp and superior casting to anything I’ve used thus far. The sensitivity and casting with the braid is like nothing else its size. Hookset consist of a snap of the wrist and the hooks are driven home from the no stretch qualities of most all braided lines. Win this line or not, I’ll be using Varivas for a long time to come.
