    seen fork put out one the other day , barely over , but it was 3 ....
    not like back when you saw bunches every year when LS first hit the scene , but at least there was one left in that lake ....

    btw , WAY back when , A buddy who lived on Palestine told me he managed 2 ...3 lb plus whites in one trip up on the north end by the sunken bridge and another one from WAY WAY back said he managed a 4.25 MOHAWK on hand held scales off in the timber on the south end , both them folks told me the game wardens weighed their fish ....
    both them fellas were die hard bass anglers most of the time , tournament crowd types

    I've been in the Tyler area since 1982, Lived on Lake Palestine since 1998. I have heard of 3 lb crappie ever since I moved here. I have not seen one
    personally. 2.78 is the best I have been able to put into the boat. I will keep trying , maybe this is the year.
