KABOOM was the word near our house , fireworks and automatic weapons is the new way locally to celebrate the new years ....
heard an AK , several handguns , one probable AR and some other stuff I ain't sure about as well .....
sure was lots of popping and KABOOMing .....

Same here, but our "Kabooms" were all fireworks ... about 5mins worth.

Ours started in around 11:00pm. Mostly fireworks, but for sure some ammo being spent as well. Don't understand their logic on shooting into the air. Logic says if it goes up, it's got to come down....Hope no one was hit...
