Issue attaching Pictures

Probably something I am doing wrong, but when I go to attach pictures it is only giving me option of using URL not from my files? Only in messages seems to work fine in threads? Help? Was trying to share this FB Hack with Slab in PM.

This is how it is from my iPad and should be same as desktop computer. Click on the attach picture button.





then click the tab at the top for where the picture is located. From computer is my normal. Then choose file and upload.

If this is showing up on the FB page of Crappie.com ... it's a violation of the rules against Spam or advertising. If I, or "D", or any of the other Mods responsible for our FB page happen to see this stuff on a post ... we'll delete the post. If it's constant, we'll also ban the member doing the posting.

Occasionally we will have a member "report" such postings, so there is a way for that to happen, and the Mods will receive notifications of such postings & take the appropriate actions.

Thanks, This is how it works for me on a thread....that is how I was able to post the above images as I often do. On a PM to Slab it only gave the option for a URL??? No from computer. That is my question. I preferred to keep this out of the main but.... wanted to make sure Slab or CrappiePappy or yourself could address it. I do not know anything about this stuff, my son who does says the FB account may have been hacked??? Thanks

Add an Image from Url Allowed Filetypes: jpg, jpeg, png, gif URL

The software does not allow you to upload images in private messages. You can post an image in something like the Test Forum, and then copy/paste it in a PM though. That's how I do it in PM's. Anyway, I didn't write the software, it's just the way it is. I suppose they didn't want folks sending bad pics or whatnot through PMs.

And the second issue, on fakebook, I'll take a look see directly. Very weird. It's not us, that's for sure.

OK, I see. They posted "Group Events" on the crappie.com fakebook page. I will ban and delete all those events directly. no worries, and think you so much for the catch, great job grizw

Would the "group event" thingy be the reason why the ad looks like Crappie.com is involved or a sponsor of said event ??
