I have to say that I’m in the same boat. More issues then I Like to talk about. When I was sick last year I basically couldn’t eat. I went into it at 248 and came out at 203. I like the results but the method I don’t recommend. The plus side is my A1c came down 7 points to 6.2. Getting old ain’t for sissies but it’s the cards we’re dealt and we have to play the hand. We’re supposed to be the smart ones but sometimes I wonder. I eat much less than I used to. Moderation and portion control make things easier to deal with. You can eat many things but you can’t have much of it. Take joy in that. Merry Christmas everyone, and don’t eat too much.

So far no issues with spicy myself. Love me some spicy foods, but not insane hot. I do like to taste it….

My sweet heart introduced me to Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning Then I found it in "More Spice". I introduced her to Fiesta brand Fajita seasoning. Both go on almost everything as ell as cayenne pepper. Not to much, but enough to arm you up a bit, not burn you up. Used to love me some extra hot, toenail sweatn' hot, but just can't do that no more...

Cayenne , tabasco pepper , jalapeno all okay. Black pepper is bad for you. Stay away from it as much as you can. I don't think you can digest it, only pass it. If it sticks to your intestines it can cause problems . I know this personally.
