    Default I AIN'T got A BIG BAG ....

But to be sure of this , we make corrugated boxes of all sizes ....
So this here Santa puts gifts in big boxes and hauls them to and fro .....
Now am I about tired of hauling gifts all over the place yet you might ask ...
just about yes for sure , but still got spots to hit is me ....
running low on time though ....
The good news is this , giving beat receiving in Christmas poker BIGTIME !
it's the royal flush in this game for sure ....
Stopped in at my buds place yesterday to drop off a bit of Christmas cheer ...
cookies and such ....even hit the dogs with some jalapeno and cheese smoked sausage as well .....AND they wanted to leave with me yesterday .....
Of course he owns a private dock , but the fish leave in the winter every year down there ....
so even though it was highly unlikely I would ketch many or even any ....
I took the stroll down to the water . One yellow bass was first up and I thought probably lucky to even ketch that , rained all day the day before , lake was kinda dingy ....
next 3 drops went VERY poorly ....first hammer the jig came off the loop knot
second TWO hammers my line snapped on the hook sets !
Was I saying bad words under my breath you might ask .....um yep is the answer ....
only had 4 or 5 jigs with me and was burning them down in quick fashion ...
Settled down my everything , loosened my drag several times and got serious .
really did not think they would be there .....silly me right ....
thinking I knew about them there tricky devils ....
left with a smile and a bunch of selfies and done it with just a t shirt on top too.
go figure ....killing time was what I thunk was gunna happen ...
AND KABOOM was how it turned out ....nice lunch break for sure
p.s. the 2 that broke me off were quite possibly NOT crappie ....both had the feel of big big fish .....not sure though ....
at least most of the smalls and mediums got in my hand ....
in the end , it sure is funny how a drive over there to give out gifts resulting in finding biting fish in a place they tend to void come winter ......just saying

Never know my friend, Spread the gift of Christmas, and you may get gifted as well. You did get some nice ones though. This year may not be cold enough to drive them off to their normal winter lay-around wait on springs warmer water hangouts. Never know is me...Merry Christmas Ketchn...

sometimes they baffle me , always kind of have a plan and an area to go ketch depending on the "norms" ...
then off they go and mess it all up with some guest star surprise type of venue .....go figure

You just keep on giving my friend! Just when I think I am the only one to lose a jig off a loop knot. Not break just came off
But to be honest if I was a ketchn like you I would be happy to lose a few . Merry Christmas my friend
