Prayers for grandson. I got three grandsons, they all three break bones worse than “Evil Kaevil” the old motorcycle stunt man.

As for the warm water, I also went yesterday they were in warmer water. They also bit smaller baits. Lots of shorts and a hand full of 10’s to 12’s. Fish would literally approach the bait and follow it but back off. Tried several other tactics even adding scent but with about same reaction. One thing I did notice on the few 12’s I brought home, belly’s were full of minnows and smaller shad.

He just got out of 1 1/2 hr surgery. 7 screws and a plate installed. Doc said he should be fine but can’t pick up anything heavier than a cell phone for 8 weeks.
Thanks for prayers and well wishes.

Ouch. I broke both mine. One in 7th grade, and one in 8th grade. It is painful, really is. A lot of muscles are connected to those collar bones. Hard to even get up out of bed. I remember clearly! Heal well, great report though.

Austin update. He under went a 1 1/2 hour surgery today during which they installed a plate and secured it to the bones with 7 screws. He is home tonight on meds and resting. Will be a long recovery period but the Doctor thinks he should be fine in 6 months. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughtful comments.

    Merry Christmas !!

    Bon Temps!!
