I’m looking hard at the 3 pound fishing 13’ that comes with two extra sections to convert to 15 and 16’. Medium action with medium tip so not too soft and not too hard.

Although technically not a jigging rod I've thought about the 20' B&M Little Mighty. I think even though it's has to be collapsed it would still come in pretty handy with the length especially when needing tp drop down beside submerged trees while staying back a good ways. IF i could have used a walmart gift card for the majority of purchase & paypal for the remainder of the balance i'd have bought one yesterday but i refuse to make the whole purchase without being able to use their own gift card as part of it.
No self respecting crappy man uses anything shorter than 20 ft.
I would agree with you, but then we would both be WRONG !!!!Rojo, SuperDave336 LIKED above postwannabe fisherman haha
Yep i was checking out a 25 foot tenekara rod today too. I usually use a 7, a 10 or 13 footer but sort of like the idea of being able to spot lock quite a ways back & drop straight down to fish that are tight on standing submerged trees without any splash or bait swinging back to them. I'll probably end up trying it before it's over.
I can't see adifference in my catching using a short rod 6'6",longest i use is 10'.
I do cast and let it pendulam back to me.
I have enough trouble getting them in the boat with a 10'.
