Default Momma in the Kitchen tonight

Momma said she wanted a Cajun food night, so I was run out the kitchen, till after dinner anyway. Crawfish Etoufee, (pronounced A two fay), Marque Choux, ( Mach chuu), and Green pea salad. Had a Pepsi to drink too...Mmmm good.

I'd love making a trip down near the bayou and getting some of the REAL cajun cooking one of these days. That meal looks good!

Looks grand. Normal meal around here. I would eat that. I like fried tails with etoufee. We call that half and half. Served in most seafood restaurants in southern Louisiana. Will be starting crawfish season soon and will get in full swing mid Jan.
