SKUNKED ??

What if I lost a nice fat slab in the brush and only ketched a few lil yellow bass and white bass .....
it seemed to be a bit odiferous , what say ya ?

Any fish caught and the skunk is gone. Skunk is only no fish caught.

I would consider no fish of my targeted species a skunk. On my home lake common bycatch is catfish , yellow bass, white bass , hybrid striper , ditch pickle ,brim, and gaspergoo. We have a name for catching a crappie , bass , drum , catfish, and any one of the 3 striped fish, " Lake Palestine grand slam"
with extra credit if they are all caught on the same bait. The drum is usually the hardest one to catch. I have managed this feat multiple times,
but only a couple of times on the same lure.
