Academy sports sale on crappie baits

was there yesterday and they had quite a few different jigs, heads and other stuff on sale. BG jigs, mr crappie and big bite baits plus jigheads at very good prices some .97 for a pack.

FYI some rods and reels but nothing that really got me excited.

both academy and BPS do around that time but not so much at other times which is why I was surprised when I went there and saw stuff I use all the time on sale.

since I had just misplaced the fanny pack I use in most of my wandering around banks and docks it was fitting that I could replace much of what I had in there with this sale.

I am sure it's in a super safe place just can't remember where that is. will probably stumble upon it one day in future.

My local store seldom has any great deals but the store by my job had great deals all the time. I have purchased Sharpshooter rods for $1, a set of boat seats $12.50 and a marine battery $25 just to name a few over the years. I now work from home so I seldom get a chance to cruise the stores for great deals.

I learned long ago to scan everything your interested in when shopping at Academy. Especially if it is a single item or if it's tucked away someplace in the store. The amount of great deals I have gotten from that store is unbelievable. During their early spring 50% off sale I saw a guy get a floor model Pelican Predator boat for $300.

Academy is the best at markdowns! Once got an $89 catfish rod for $24.95.
