I did not watch the video yet, but colors matter. At least to me. I like my clothes to match colors when I'm fishing.

HUMANKIND......be both
First, I haven’t watched the video. I’ve watched lots of others on this subject. What works for me goes like this. Low light conditions will use different colors than bright light days. When the light changes as the day progresses, SOMETIMES their preference changes but not always. I play the color game and see what they want today and then move away from the inactive colors. If they slow down it’s time to change colors on a rod or two and see if they’ve just gone inactive or changed preference. This is my approach for trolling.
I always carry 5 rods when I single pole fish. Some with flash, some with curl, some bold and some subdued colors like olive or brown. This way if I get a bump that has some authority I can throw a different bait the next cast. Not everyone carries lots of rods and take single rod in a literal sense. The approach is the same just a slower pace.
