“D” has been named 2023 Crappie.com Man Of The Year.
PLUS the award is being renamed to the Dave Shands Memorial Award.
In Davids honor, going forward, it will be known as the David Shands Memorial Award. This is being done with respect to everything “G” MADE THE SITE, and his influence on the moderation over all the years he was with us.
On top that, Danny gets the first award because of all his contributions. FYI, “G” originally made the recommendation to me to make Danny a Supermod. It's a big year, with two big announcement for “D” and “G”.
So a very big congratulations go out to Danny for becoming the very first David Shands Memorial Award, Man of Year Winner. For all his contributions on and off the site. He's been a tremendous influence behind the scenes as well. He helps others every chance he gets. He approves members and helps keep the Crappie.com facebook group clean as well, and that ain't easy. He maintains crappie.com friendships all across the country (partly cause he's been everywhere! Lol). Danny exemplifies everything “G” wanted and expected of the site, with all the honor and integrity that goes along with it, and we all know he will continue to do so going forward. Congrats Danny, and thank you so much for being part of our little corner of the Internet. Fish on my friend.
