Default A Few Papermouths from This Morning

Tough morning. Started right at daylight. 42 degrees and POURING rain. Got on a few decent fish before getting completely soaked. Caught all but one fish on a Bulldog Trout Magnet. Another one on a chartreuse Crappie Magnet. Fish were up close to the bank in 4-5 feet of water and clinging tight to laydowns.

Good job, better than me. If it’s already raining I’m not going. Lol

You’re a smarter man than me. I should have stayed home. It was fun, but not worth being cold and wet all morning.

Thank you, Jack. Been catching a lot of shorts last two trips out. Was glad to see a few nicer sized crappie this morning. Usually seems like guys have plucked the keeper sized fish bare by the time the weekend is over.

I don't fish in the rain either. Interesting the fish were so close to the bank. If any has eggs post a picture of them so we can see how far along in development they are.
