Very nice. Good job and pics. Thanks for sharing
I've had a good November on the crappie and bluegill. Nights are getting down to 20, days are warming up to the 40's. Water temp is in the high 40's. The bluegill are 22-34' deep in 50' of water. The crappie are around 20' in the morning dropping to 30-40' in the afternoon. This catch was a few days before Thanksgiving. Hope to get out again before the snow hits this weekend.
Also had a rare sighting of a Bighorn ram that day. When you're the only boat out there you have a good chance of seeing wildlife this time of year.

Good to hear that you were having good fall fishing old neighbor, mini don’t know that he was my neighbor for quite a few years, so we never fished together in Brownlee but we always kept contact with one another. he also was a guide on Brownlee Reservoir for quite a few years..
Oh yes, I dearly miss fishing in Hills canyon. One thing that was really amazing was to see all the wildlife, including the big horn sheep, and elk and bear and deer, and every other type of critter. On my way home in the evenings there in Oregon on the snake river..
There's a good sized herd 20 miles from this spot out on the Snake River. They caught a pneumonia virus from domestic sheep and quite a few died. This arm is a tributary that feeds into the Snake. I've only seen Bighorns in it one other time out near the mouth. This ram was about 3 miles from the launch. The rut is going on, maybe he's wandering looking for love. You never know what you'll see out there, lots of wildlife.
