While I don't target one over the other I prefer the black crappie. I like their body shape and colors better. Plus they are thick and fight good.

Happy Thanksgiving yawl ! and then ......this question .....
We will be off hunting and doing some in the woods stuff , grandson hunts are the BEST , terribly good entertainment for sure and his dad said please get a deer with him in the blind this year , dad and him been watching them this year and not taking one and dad thinks the lil one might get the wrong idea and go thinking hunting is only looking at them ....
Took him last year when he was 3 and he did great and now at 4 he is getting the hang of it to some degree , dad sent a few images that made me about cry from their last hunt , some of the things kids do ya know .....
So in my absence from said website as we go off into the Thanksgiving family hunt mode , my question is this ....
and yes we need images posted to see them said fisheez too....
show us some crappie fish please ...
Do you like to ketch or mainly target black or white crappie , BnM posted this question on another forum and it seems like a relevant question to me .....

It is any crappie for me. It seems I catch mostly Black crappie but it is the ketchen that I am out for.
Don't need to add another layer of target for me to worry about

As most have said, no prejudice or specific angling here. I do think the black ones are prettier, especially during the spawn in their tuxedos!
