    Default 16’ Rods

Has anyone tried the 16’ ACC trolling rods for with Livescope?
What is the lightest 16’ rod available?
If I dont ask its my fault for not knowing

Never owned or fished with a rod longer than 14' .... so, think I'll stick with my 12' Diamond Series BnM rod for LS flippin'.

It's questions like this that make me once again say that rod mfg'rs should include the weight of the rod in their specs.

9.9 oz for the ACC 16’ trolling rod.

I used 13' for a long time . My neuropathy getting worse so I use a 11.5' light as a feather now . Jerry Hancock model from Power Crappie . The longer the rod more weight pulling it down.

Go with a Huckabee K rod or Ozark Machine. HH makes one, which I own, but will not buy another HH rod out of principal alone. Theres a time and place for a longer rod, especially shallower water and spooky fish...that said, my 16 RARELY gets used.
