I float fish and cast past my target and ease my bait back slow. I’m interested to see how other folks approach calm conditions as well.
How do you fellows fish the absolutely still days, i a, talking about lake as slick as glass, it has been this way around here for about a week now, I have been going only catching 10-15 before the sun gets up, but after that it’s hard catchin those fish that spooks when my jig even hits the water, any comments or help is appreciated.

I have no idea. Seems every time I go it's blowing like a tornado....
I would imagine stealth is the name of the game though.

I live for no wind days. Being a true UL angler wind plays havoc when using lures as light as 0.5 grams and lines rated at 2 pounds with diameter of 0.090mm. It is very rare I ever use a float anymore. I just use my twitching method and I've never noticed that the lack of wind causes my catch rate to go down.
