I have never cleaned crappie this fast in my life...
So I'm smoking whole crappie now and it's coming out great. I'm smoking the whole fish. Just removing the head, guts and scales. Yesterday I removed the scales the traditional way with a table spoon and it was fine. Not hard, just messy, and took a little time. But I thought overnight to try the old way I used to scale Salmon, with a garden hose. So today I tried it, and wow, fast as heck. Just also messy. So either way is messy, just this way is way fast. Cut head off, pull out guts, done. Done 6 fish in about 6 minutes, that's unreal. I'm gonna have to video it for y'all so you can see how easy it is. Might even look on the jungle site for a sprayer nozzle that don't spray me back when it hits the scales! doh
