I went last Friday and the wind and a broken trolling motor keep me from fishing. I played with my Livescope settings and called it a trip after a hour. I'm currently waiting for the mail man to deliver me a new switch for my trolling motor before I can hit the lake again. Since you learned the lake better your trip was not wasted.

Ketchn trust me I get it. I just don't enjoy Bridge fishing personally. Bridge fishing is about "catching fish" to me. Searching around finding Roaming, Brushpile, Timber lurking, or grouped up fish in the species I'm targeting is me actually Fishing. Fishing to ME is no different than Hunting you are just on the water. I want t9 get in the mindset to think & outsmart my targeted prey. I want to plan, find, stalk, present the bait I CHOOSE TO USE, convince that Fish to bite it, enjoy the gratification of it fighting, be able to land it myself, & then rejoice in knowing on my own I took a Lake that was at least 19,000 acres & found targets 10-18 INCHES, all the while letting Mother Nature do her thing. BUDDY DATZ FISHING TO ME!, It's all good. THE FISH HAVE TO WHEN SOMETIMES KETCHN But learning Tawakoni yesterday after that could front & all that rain made me remember just how unpredictable that lake can be & why I stopped fishing it. T-WOK can beat the brakes of a person. I talked with 4 people on the water yesterday that were coming in. 1 had 6, 2 had 12 each, & 1 had 8. They guys with 8 & 12 had LiveScope & all 3 are regulars there. I at least out fished them.

Ketchn wait till I show you all the water I covered.

to me, ketchn fish is way more important than playing around looking for them , I want to get my jig hammered right away and not wait all day
btw , the dam is the second best spot there in my opinion , lots of old dead heads sunk along it .....just saying
the timber there can be a beast .....they might be up on the shallow timber there as well ,up above the bridge ,,,,not sure about them in that lake is me

@Ketchn now this sounds interesting & scary at the same time to me on T-WOK concerning the Dam. When I think T-WOK I think rough water, & when I think rough water I think I sure as heck don't want to be in DEEPER WATER EQUALLING MORE VOLUME MOVING. I have to get over my phobias on this lake. Ketchn I was actually down by it but was so limited on time I didn't want to waste it on searching for fish in areas that had zero visible obstructions. At some point I'm going to put in some time to scan that area. Thanks.
