Wasn’t a human but my big dog bothered one and when it flew at her, she bit at it and it got her on the side of the tongue. My wife found her barely able to breathe and her tongue swollen to about three times its normal size. In a flash she got her to the vet who gave her a shot to counteract the bite and she was ok in a short while. Those things don’t play. Just a note to y’all, if there’s one buzzin me and I start moving don’t get in my path. My wife learned this early on our relationship as I almost ran over her while she was asking “what’s wrong?” I wasn’t slowing down for nothin!! Mine is a mental allergy.

7-8 years ago! Heck I can't remember last weekend. Why do you think I post picture stories, it is my memory! You got a pic of you with that fat lip, then maybe I'll remember?

Never drank one , but about every kind of stinging wasp/ bee has had me in it’s crosshairs .
Got literally chased down by a whitefaced hornet that finally got me in my garage after I infuriated it in the back yard while mowing.
Hung onto my top lip and stung me inside of it , rushed to the hospital as well , doctor said I was lucky to not have been choked out over it ,my lip got so enormous it almost closed my mouth ....scared me good for sure.

Never drank one but got whacked by several earlier this year when I got to close to a nest I didn't know was there. While fishing in California with Sonny one morning I took the lid off my coffee cup for it to cool down I caught a fat male gill and as I was unhooking it he fertilized my coffee, perfect shot. Looked over at Sonny who had witnessed the incident and said " I'm not drinking that".

Yes, they can be really nasty. So far I’m not allergic to them but they sure do hurt. Fall around an apple tree can be the worst!

Was weeding eating and had a handful of them critters fly up my shorts and commenced to stinging. You can toss a weed eater a good ways when you start to get popped.

The little Bulldog went under the deck messing around. He had a cluster of them on his side by his back leg. He was spinning in a circle doing a Tasmanian devil impression. They got me pretty good in the hand went I grabbed them off of him and went to smashing them

I had a similar event on Saturday morning. I took a drink of coffee from my Yeti cup and the coffee was moving in my mouth! I quickly spit it out to find a bug had made it's way into the cup for a sip and I had caught him in the act. Good thing I was outside when it occurred, as i'da painted the house with coffee!

I drank a honey bee while fishing, stung me in the back of my throat. Luckily I didn't have any kind of reaction because we were a long ways from any kind of help. The stinger stayed in my throat until I got home and my sister pulled it out with some tweezers. Never will forget that pain.
