    Default Ever fished like this?

Couple of my fall favorite brushpiles were covered with leaves but I rode thru and scoped them anyway. Fish were there so I put half ounce weights on my hang gliding rods and went to work. No livescope, just 2D sonar. The weight helped my baits stay down as I glided thru the mass of leaves slowly picking up fish.

@Chaunc I've never even been faced with seeing those conditions... It obviously made the area undesirable to other's & the fish Stacked on Stacked on Stacked for you to hit dat JACK-POT!!! You hammered them!! I have to live vicariously through all the other anglers this week as my area is being rained in & high winds, so I don't get to go.. WAY TO GO CHAUNC!!!

Nice box of fish. I have caught them under wood debris mats before but not leaves. Good job figuring out how to catch them.

We have leaves but usually the wind is blowing them all over the surface and nothing piles up quite like that. Good job and nice box of fish.

Problem solving skills says it all. Good work looking around the obstruction and seeing the prize. Nice box of fish, looks just like dinner.
