I wanted to ask a question about removing the flooring in the back. It goes under the compartments with the foam filled. Do I need to remove all the foam to get to more screws? Thanks

If you’ll look into Tiny Boat Nation, you’ll see lots of aluminum boat projects to learn from. My thought is that you’ll wind up taking apart and removing more than you thought you would. If the foam feels wet it’s gotta go. Grade BC exterior plywood is one step down from marine and less than half the money. I pretreat mine with polyester resin thinned and set to cure very slow so that it soaks in deep before hardening. Kinda fun when you get back to reassembling but the tear out can be frustrating.

Are you talking the foam in that particular compartment? Either way it wouldn’t hurt to check but I would think the flooring rus under the compartment as well. From your picture it appears it does.
