    Default Crankbait temperatures

Whats your best temps for pushing crankbaits? Really wondering what you would consider to cold. I got a chance a few weeks back to play with them and caught a few fish but the temps have dropped a little since then. Just wondering if it’s worth fooling with this upcoming weekend.

    Thanks Men

60 degree water temp is the lowest I push or pull cranks. Hope you can get another trip in.

I'm curious of the same question. Our surface water temp here is hovering around 60. I pushed jigs and cranks this past Sunday, the jigs got bit, not the cranks.
    Drinkin coffee, missin fish.

I’m still above 70deg here. I’ll probably give em a go after the day gets going. Gonna fish minnows to start the day off.

38 for pulling, don't know why pushing would be any different.

    Thats cold!
Especially for a South Alabama boy like me. Lowest I see it here is occasionally 48-50. But that’s not every year.

Joey ... I'd ask M R DUX what his temp range is for Pulling cranks, as that's pretty much what he does when he guides people on KY Lake.

I think I remember him saying 50deg, but don't quote me on that.

    Thanks Pappy.
I may see if he’ll give me some pointers.
