I use the 102SV (10" instead of 12") and love it with the older transducer. I think it has more resolution than the 93Sv and it has the same as the 126SV. Now with that said I've been seriously considering upgrading the the 34 ducer...........
I continue to rig out small 16’ aluminum Duracraft pan fish boat. I will be fishing mainly smaller river systems rather than lakes for crappie.
I presently own a Garmin 93SV Echomap Plus. I am going to add LiveScope to this rig. I have fished with the Garmin 126sv and the LiveScope plus system it is nice. But would be large on this small boat not to mention the expense.
But trying to keep things a bit more compact on this smaller boat. Can I achieve the same just with a smaller screen and the LSV32. This is the only LiveScope transducer this unit will work with. With the new LiveScope unit I don’t really screen fish or video fish as much as I locate the location of the crappie and get my depth. Then I go to catching them rather than watching the screen. Thoughts anyone? And are they any of you using the smaller screen and LVS32 system.

I have a 14 foot fiberglass boat and I have the 93sv with Livescope. Like you I don't pick off one fish at a time (unless they are roaming in open water) but rather find a pod of fish and either pitch or cast to them. I have the LVS32 and it works fine. It's my understanding that a LVS34 only shines if you need more range. My unit works just fine. I would rather have a larger unit than a LVS34 only because I need a second unit that I can network so that I can search for brushpile and structure from the back of the boat. I can buy a larger unit for the same price as the LVS34 and the ethernet port to network the units (ethernet port not needed for 102sv or 126SV). I fish by myself 95% of the time and my setup works fine for me other than needing a second unit I can see while driving and searching.
I have a 93SV UHD and LVS32 on my 10’ kayak. Being that close to the unit it’s easy to see. I’m perfectly fine with it’s size and usefulness.
I have no problems with my 93sv/LVS32 setup on my 16' ProCraft. It does all I want it to do.

Sir CrappiePappy has spoke Silverroach. He is reinforcing what I've been saying. Livescope is not a UHD signal and at 20-25ft you will see all you need. You know how to fish, I would tell you to go regular Panoptix but for the reasons I text you Livescope is the direction for you. Put a switch on the GLS10 box so it is off when not in use. Remember the Chartplotter should be turned off before turning the GLS10 on or off.
Fellows thank you all for your input. It has been very helpful.

That 93 is plenty big enough from where you are going to be sitting most time. I fish panoptix on a 93 for the very same reason. If your not sniping a 7" is big enough

I have the 93sv and LVS32 on my bass boat. This is a perfectly useful rig. I DO pick off single crappie with this rig. Last trip out I found a tree with 3 12+ inch crappie stacked up one on top of the other. I started at the top and picked off all 3 one after the other. It would help to have a tall mount to make it easier to look at (less looking down) but I currently have mine on a 9" RAM mount and I can see it just fine. I'd love to have a 12 inch screen but just can't pull the trigger on the cost. As far a the transducer, there's NO difference in picture with the LVS32 vs the LVS34. The 34 is designed for more distance (both depth and forward). For what you're doing the 32 is more than sufficient.
